Student Council Feeds Families for the Holidays

Under the direction of Principal, Sister Jacquelyn Balasia, Mother Seton High School’s student council ran a food drive to insure that families in the area would be able to have the traditional holiday dinners.  Through their efforts, the girls were able to create 40 large food baskets along with 40 turkeys which they donated to Saint Joseph’s Social Service Center in Elizabeth and Saint John the Apostle Church in Clark, New Jersey.  The students used their boundless energy to collect, organize, and deliver all the baskets making sure the local families in need had the proper food for their feast.

Mother Seton Honors Veterans

The Parents’ Guild of Mother Seton High School is dedicated to pairing all their activities with a community outreach embedding the school’s mission statement of personal growth and service to others nurturing a richly, diverse community.  The annual Pocket Book Bingo, a very successful fundraiser, added a request for participants and students to literally thank New Jersey Veterans for their service.
