This
fall, Mother Seton Regional High School was asked by Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital at Rahway to partner with them in a project designed to help patients
with Alzheimers disease or early onset dementia. The hospital staff was in need
of puzzles, crayons, coloring books and cards to help stimulate the patients
who were admitted for a separate medical issue. The Mother Seton community
collected six cartons of these materials that will now be used to focus and
relax the patients and help keep them alert during their hospital stay. The
hospital items were collected in conjunction with Mother Seton’s Spirit Week.
